The ninth hole looks easy on paper, but that is because you cannot see the elevation change between tee and green. It is only 170 yards from the back tee to the fairway so a driver may not be needed to reach it, especially as there is deep rough on both sides of the fairway. The approach shot always needs at least an extra club due to the incline, and anything short can end up running back down the fairway, away from the green. The green itself slopes from back to front and is protected by two bunkers.
